Hamilton

Description:
First settled as a frontier fort, the attractive city of Hamilton has been dubbed the "City of Sculpture" for its expansive Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. Serving as the county's cultural, financial, and governmental center, Hamilton is home to more than 1,700 companies and businesses. One of these manufacturers, the Mosler Safe Company, built the vault that protects the nation's most important documents and Fort Knox gold. The city boasts an outstanding system of parks and recreational programs, four historic districts, golf courses, and a satellite campus of the highly respected public institution of Miami University. The Fitton Center for the Creative Arts crowns the region with cultural enrichment, while the Miami River invites water sports of all types. The housing mix in Hamilton is an artful blend of grand historic properties and newer construction.
