Lebanon, South Lebanon

Description:
The historic Lebanon area is justly proud of its colorful past and treasures from yesterday. Ohio's oldest inn, the 1803 Golden Lamb Hotel that once hosted many presidents and dignitaries including Mark Twain and Charles Dickens, still operates in its original location. The outstanding Warren County Historical Museum, the Glendower State Memorial, and the Turtle Creek Valley Railway are other points of interest that draw throngs of tourists to Lebanon. Historic charm and close proximity to Cincinnati have also made the area a popular place for new residents and new business. Five industrial parks and more than 800 businesses including wonderful antique and specialty shops keep the local economy strong and vital. Other highlights include first-rate schools, a golf course, a YMCA, county fairgrounds, harness racing, and the annual Applefest. The countryside that surrounds both of these sister communities is dotted with fruit orchards.
